Jack & Grace wins brief to uncork careers in the wine industry

Certified B Corp comms agency, Jack & Grace, has been chosen by Plumpton College to raise awareness of the broad career opportunities available across the UK wine sector, a rapidly growing industry in need of more talent to meet increasing demand.
Almost 1,000 vineyards now operate across the country, with hectares under vine having quadrupled since 2000 and forecast to rise by a further 85% by 2032. With the UK wine sector booming, its workforce is expected to grow by 50% in the next year alone.
Jeremy Kerswell, Principal of Plumpton College, a specialist land and environment education provider and home of the UK Wine Education Centre, said: “The UK wine sector’s rapid rate of growth brings huge career opportunities, both for young people starting out and experienced professionals looking to transfer their skills to a new sector.
“We need a comms partner to help us showcase the vast opportunities wine offers and inspire more people to consider a career across the full breadth of the sector – from wine growing and production, right through to marketing, retail, tourism and trade. We’re delighted to be working with Jack & Grace to launch National Wine Careers Week in May.”
Jack & Grace Co-founder, Laura Chambers, said: “This brief is perfect for us – blending our experience in the education sector and promoting British produce. We’re thrilled to be working with the talented team at Plumpton College, as well as drawing on valuable strategic partnerships with Nyetimber.”
